Heritage Cruise Pier Antigua

Meridian Construction Ltd was the Caribbean marine contractor engaged by the St. John’s Development Corporation Heritage Quay, Antigua to undertake the construction of the Heritage Quay Cruise Pier to accommodate the berthing of Royal Caribbean Quantum of the Seas on the northern side of the pier.

Nanny Cay Outer Marina

Meridian provided the plant for all the earth moving and construction of the revetment; constructed the revetment; dredged the marina; built the peninsula using the dredge materials and additional fill; sheetwalled the inner wall of the peninsula; constructed access bridge; drove the piles for the docks.

Pockwood Pond Power Station Extension

Meridian Construction was the civil contractor on the Phase 5 expansion. Meridian built all the structural elements which included the excavating into the hill and removing 25,000 m3 of soil and rock; drainage; concrete foundations for engines, exhaust stacks, fuel tanks and transformers: structural steel control rooms and engine hall. The work also includes the fitting out and infrastructure. The project was delivered in late 2016.
