Inaugural visit of Norwegian Getaway marks official opening of BVI’s newly expanded cruise pier
The Cruise Pier was officially opened with speeches and fireworks on April 29, 2015. The day started with the inaugural call of the Norwegian Getaway into the Port of Road Town as it safely docked onto the newly constructed cruise pier.
Carnival Liberty first cruise ship to dock at the new cruise pier facility
With all three catwalks, the dolphins and the north eastern side of the dock ready for berthing, the Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) ship, Carnival Liberty became the first cruise ship to dock at the new cruise pier facility in Road Town on Saturday, March 28, one month ahead of completion of both sides of the dock.

83-Pile Commercial Building Project Completed
Meridian just completed the piling for a new 6-storey office and retail building in the heart of Road Town.
Meridian drove 83 piles to a depth of 55 feet to support the 4,980 ton, 35,355 square foot building.
